I am a Georgia licensed clinical social worker with over twenty years in the field of social work. I am also a member of the International OCD Foundation.
I provide individual, couples and group therapy. My treatment approach is eclectic as I believe one approach cannot be right for every client. I have completed training through the BTTI (Behavior Therapy Training Institute) through the IOCDF in a form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) known as Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), which is the gold standard method of treatment for OCD and related anxiety disorders. I am currently offering individual and group therapy to parents and loved ones of people with OCD. There are limited resources available to parents and families dealing with OCD and it is a much needed community resource. I understand that living with a person with OCD can be considerably challenging and impacts the whole family. I am here to help.
Some of my areas of focus are relationship issues, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, phobias, anxiety, depression, sexuality or gender identity issues and post-partum adjustment.
I am here to support you and help you find the tools necessary to create the life you want. Let me work with you to stop living in fear, become empowered, gain hope and balance, develop coping strategies, restore harmony in your relationships and joy in your life.
