I am a clinical social worker with over twenty five years in the field of social work. I am fully licensed in the state of Georgia and telehealth licensed in the state of Florida. I am also a member of the International OCD Foundation.
I provide individual and group therapy, as well as, SPACE training to reduce family accommodation of OCD and Anxiety.
I have completed training through the Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) through the IOCDF in a form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) known as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), which has been the gold standard method of treatment for OCD and related anxiety disorders for many decades. I am also trained in another evidence-based treatment for OCD called Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT) which is a non exposure-based treatment approach. I also infuse Acceptance and Committment Therapy (ACT) principles into my work, when it is clinically indicated.
There are limited resources available to people with OCD and their families. I also understand that living with a person with OCD can be considerably challenging and how it impacts the whole family. I am here to help.
I am here to support you and help you find the tools necessary to create the life you want. Let me work with you to stop living in fear, become empowered, gain hope and learn the strategies needed to get your anxiety managed and live your life according to your values.
